Stateside reunion August 5-8, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA (near D.C. Dulles airport)

This is our next "official" reunion. On the steps of our old school in Bekkestua, Norway, in July of 2002, we decided that our next reunion would be in the U.S.A. at wherever Joe Condrill's next Homecomeing 200x takes place. And so we assembled for Homecoming 2004 in Atlanta, GA, and for Homecomeing 2007 in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

The next one is Homecoming 2010 and is slated for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston, VA, near the Washington, D.C. Dulles airport. Approximately 1600 overseas brats are expected to attend this event.

At this point only some preliminary information has been sent to alumni reps (see below). Keep an eye on the Overseas Brats website for further developments, including registration procedures. As in 2004 & 2007, all reservations and financial arrangements are made directly with Joe Condrill's Overseas Brats. Maryl & Mike are not intermediaries; you must make your own reservations directly with the hotel & with Overseas Brats.

Hi!
Yes, it has been several months since you've heard
from OVERSEAS BRATS about Homecoming.
Just a quick review:  There were 645 attending
Homecoming 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas-
Fort Worth, August 2-5, 2007.  There were 24 reunions
that happened that weekend.
    And now......announcing Homecoming 2010:
This will happen August 5-8, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency
Reston in Reston, VA.   Yes, we are taking this event
to the DC metro area!
    Why the DC metro area?
    1) The DC metro area, when you combine the
Southern Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia area,
this constitues our third largest population area of
Brats like us.  (Texas is #1; California is #2).
   2) Events held in the DC area have been very
successful over the years. The last all-schools
reunion event, Grand Reunion'96 attract 1,600,
so it wil have been 14 years since an event of
this caliber has happened there.
    Why the Hyatt Regency Reston?
    1) The Hyatts have had a history of what
we need for this event:  plenty of space,
hospitality suites for alumni groups, etc.
   2) Room rates further out from the DC
area are more economical.
   3) This particular Hyatt is located in
Reston Town Square which has a lot of
shops, restaurants and is an attraction
of its' own.
Get excited ~ and get your friends and
classmates to Homecoming 2010!
    Have a terrific day!
              Very Sincerely Yours,
              Joe Condrill
